Are you interested in learning about forestry and tips on managing your woodlot? If so please join area residents in attending the Clinton Conservation District's 2006 Forestry Club Meeting.

Topics to be discussed will include;

Forest Health Issues-Mike Henley, Service Forester for Michigan DNR will be discussing several different forestry pests that can negatively impact your woodlot.

Forestry 101-Debra Huff, Forest Stewardship Coordinator for Michigan DNR will provide information about the different sources of information that are available to help woodlot owners manage their woodlot.  

Emerald Ash Borer-Roger Lintemuth, from Michigan Forest Pest Education Program will be presenting information on what can be done with ash trees in your woodlot, the life cycle of the emerald ash borer and options for treatment.

Cost-Share Opportunities-Mike Hanley, Service Forester for Michigan DNR will be discussing the different cost share programs that are available to woodlot owners.
