Park renamed in memory of local woman

Ann Arbor's Brown Park has been renamed in honor of local environmentalist Mary Beth Doyle, who died in a car crash in 2004.

 

“I was one who knew Mary Beth Doyle very well,'' said Mayor John Hieftje, who sponsored the resolution. "She was totally dedicated to the environment.''
