Enviro-Mich message from "Katie Coleman" <katieelizabethcoleman@hotmail.com>

Did you know that the only student-produced magazine about environmental issues in the country is produced right here in Michigan?

Michigan State University's Knight Center for Environmental Journalism publishes the magazine twice annually, and the latest issue features several Michigan-specific articles, including:

* "'Fun'gus for the Whole Family," an article detailing the ecological concerns surrounding the popular Michigan sport of morel hunting.

* "Who Owns the Water?" a look at the outcome of Michigan's groundbreaking legislation about water withdrawls.

* "Chemical Contamination," a story about the contaminated Americhem site in Mason, Mich., and the state's Part 201 funding crisis.

These articles and more may be downloaded as a PDF from http://ej.msu.edu/magazine.php

Hope you enjoy reading!
