Dear Friends,

The Southeast MI group of the Sierra Club will hold
its final General Membership meeting of the 2005-2006
season on Thursday, June 1st. There will be a potluck
from 630-730pm after which time we will conduct our
program from 730-9pm. All are welcome to join us. The
program "Constructing a Green Agenda for Builders"
will be presented by Paul Goldsmith, who currently
chairs the Detroit Regional Chapter of the US Green
Building Council. He will introduce us to the
principles of green building as outlined in the LEED
(Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) ratings
system that guides their organization. He will
showcase examples of both new construction and
renovations of existing buildings in Southeast MI that
have met the LEED standards for sedign excellence. 

SEMG Sierra Club meets the 1st Thursday of each month
(Sept-June) at the Northwest Unitarian-Universalist
Church, 23925 Nothwestern Hwy (between 9 & 10 Mile
along the south-bound John Lodge service drive) in
