Attorneys who represented a Michigan landowner in a case that badly split
the U.S. Supreme Court have asked federal agencies to clarify which wetlands are
protected under the Clean Water Act.
The Pacific Legal Foundation, based in Sacramento, Calif., this week petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers to issue new rules that would curtail their jurisdiction over privately owned wetlands. |
