Dear Friends and Colleagues in Southeast MI and Northwest OH,
40 years ago, on Oct. 5, 1966, ?we almost lost Detroit,? as John Fuller described in his book of the same title, about the Fermi 1 nuclear reactor melt down near Monroe, MI. We almost lost large chunks of MI, OH, Lake Erie, and/or Ontario, as well, depending on which way the wind was blowing that day.
