The Michigan Natural Areas Council is hosting a public meeting on Saturday, 9 December, in East Lansing.

Speakers will be:

Matt Herbert, MDNR, with a State Natural Areas Program Update.

Phyllis Higman, MNFI, on the MDNR Biodiversity Planning Process.

Tom Freeman, Washtenaw Parks/Rec Commission, on Natural Area Selection in
             Washtenaw County (with Sylvia Taylor and Tony Reznicek).

A business meeting of the MNAC will follow.

Location is Room 168 of the Plant and Soil Sciences Building at MSU. The meeting will commence at 11:00 a.m. and run until about 2: p.m.

If you wish, bring a sack lunch. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
