E-M:/ PM 2.5 air pollution elevated today

Michigan DEQ Air Quality Division is showing 
Flint, Lansing, Grand Rapids and Saginaw/Bay City with 
poor air quality today -- Code Orange, Unhealthy for Sensitive 
Groups conditions today for PM 2.5 particle air pollution.


At 12 Noon, Flint had the highest 24 hour average at 55 micrograms
per cubic meter, but Grand Rapids had the highest 1 hour reading of 
76 micrograms per cubic meter.

The highest PM 2.5 air pollution in the nation appears to be occurring in 
Michigan, Illinois (Chicago to Milwaukee) and St. Louis, MO presently.
