Ecology Center Beyond Sustainability Meeting! 

Thursday, April 19, from 7-9pm
 at Arbor Brewing Company

Come learn about local energy initiatives and find out
how to get involved in the most exciting new
sustainability group around town! The Ecology Center's
Beyond Sustainability Action Group has been focusing
on local ecologically sustainable initiatives since
January 2007, working on everything from the
Detroit-Ann Arbor commuter rail, to planning a Local
Food Fair, to hosting an Environmental Film Series.

This month we'll be hearing from leading local energy
expert David Wright. David is currently serving on the
Ann Arbor Energy Commission, has extensive background
and knowledge of alternative energy systems, and is a
former Michigan Environmental Council energy advocate
and Ecology Center board member. He'll be talking
about the City of Ann Arbor's current and future
energy plan, as well as how citizens can play a role
in furthering energy conservation and alternative
