Oxford, MI - On Saturday, May 12,  from 1- 4 pm, Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center is hosting a seminar: SOLAR HOT WATER AND POOL HEATING with Donna Napolitano
 
Heating our water is our second highest utility cost. Learn how you can reduce your domestic hot water energy by as much as 75% AND realize a quick return on your investment. Discover how a solar boiler system utilizes the free energy of the sun to produce clean, affordable energy for hot water. If you are a pool owner, find out how to get rid of that expensive gas heater, AND extend your swimming season with a solar pool heating system.
 
Donna Napolitano has been involved in the Solar Industry since 1982.  She is co-owner of Mechanical Energy Systems, Inc., located in Canton.  MES specializes in thermal solar applications including solar water heating, solar air heating and solar pool heating systems.
 
The seminar will include a free Energy Tour of Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center, a Michigan Energy Demonstration Center.
 
Upland Hills Ecological Awareness Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing experiences that teach and promote sustainable and responsible relationship with the natural world and each other. The Center facility is a demonstration model of energy-efficiency, ecological design and renewable energy applications including wind & solar electricity and a living 'green' roof.
