Here are some?great events and important announcements that the CRN is planning
in the coming months:

Help Drive the Agenda for the Dec. 2 - 4 CRN Annual Meeting
As many of you are aware, the CRN is having its 2007 Annual Meeting in New
Orleans from Dec. 2 - 4. We are currently putting together the conference agenda
and would love your input. Visit www.corpsreform.org to take our
4-Questions-in-4-Minutes Mini-Survey to help us plan an engaging, inspiring and
educational CRN Annual Meeting this December.

Speaking of the CRN Annual Meeting
Save the Date!? We are planning a compelling 2007 Annual Meeting with tours of
Hurricane Katrina's aftermath, educational sessions on the Corps, leadership
workshops for nonprofit organizations, and fun social gatherings with live
music. Check back at www.corpsreform.org for a more detailed agenda - its on its

Hard Corps Training Made Easy - Memphis - Sat. Sept. 29.
Attention clean water advocates living around the Memphis area, you're invited
to attend this CRN 1-day training to enhance your ability to protect and restore
local rivers, wetlands and other waters managed or impacted by the Corps.
Featured trainers include Barry Sulkin, former Chief of Enforcement, TN Dept. of
Enviro. Conservation on 404 Mitigation and Larry Smith, former ED of the Wolf
River Conservancy on the successful grassroots campaign to protect the Wolf

Welcome to New CRN Members
Several organizations have joined the Corps Reform Network since the beginning
of 2007. These organizations are the: Planning and Conservation League
(California), Levees.org (Louisiana), Indian Riverkeeper (Florida), Lone Tree
Council (Michigan), ?Great Rivers Habitat Alliance (Missouri) and Institute for
Agriculture and Trade Policy (Minnesota). This brings CRN Membership up to 154

full membership list.
