As to the Granholm push for trash gasification,
industrial interests for trash/coal/sewage sludge/wood chip/hazardous waste/
petroleum coke/petroleum waste gasification have their very own

Remember that gasification units can use "low grade" wastes as long as they
contain sufficient carbon and hydrogen and are free of excessive water and
too great a portion of non combustables.
