E-M:/ Watershed Planning Workshop

Enviro-Mich message from "Robert Sweet" <sweetr@michigan.gov>

Just a reminder about next weeks Watershed Planning Workshop. There are
still a few openings...

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Nonpoint Source
Program and the US EPA Watershed Academy are pleased to announce a
watershed management training event featuring National Watershed
Experts. A one day Workshop on Watershed Planning will be held Thursday
September 6th at the Lansing Community College West Campus. There is a
$25 registration fee which covers materials and lunch. The workshop
will present general watershed planning information, but will focus on
addressing the federally required "nine minimum elements of watershed
planning" (the 319 watershed plan criteria).

On-line registration and the workshop brochure are available via the
DEQ website (http://www.michigan.gov/deq). Click on "DEQ Training and
Workshops" in the Quick Links on the right side of the page.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.
