Basics of the budget deal: Raise income tax from 3.9% to 4.35% (drops back down to 3.9%
between 2011 and 2015) - will raise about $765 million annually. Sales tax expanded to some services (list at bottom) - will
raise about $750 million annually. Both will raise less this year due to the fact that they
will take time to implement. Support came primarily from the Democrat side of the aisle
