What concerns me is the four words at the end... "Or their connecting waters"
 
I live on the bank of the grand river... unless I'm mistaken... thats a connecting water to the great lakes... isn't Lansing areas grand river park recreation area connected also...

For context, the legislation is in response to drownings that have occurred in Lake Mich by kids who are "invincible" in spite of the many warnings and postings along these piers.
