I agree, the legislation won't do much in reality
to prevent kids from doing that we all did at their
age.

I live on the bank of the grand river... unless I'm mistaken... thats a
connecting water to the great lakes... isn't Lansing areas grand river park
recreation area connected also...

For context, the legislation is in response to drownings that have
occurred in Lake Mich by kids who are "invincible" in spite of the many
warnings and postings along these piers.
