Ethnic cleansing: noun : the expulsion, imprisonment, or killing of an
ethnic minority by a dominant majority in order to achieve ethnic


Gentrification: noun : : the process of renewal and rebuilding
accompanying the influx of middle-class or affluent people into
deteriorating areas that often displaces poorer residents


The two are not interchangeable.  That being said, why is it so
surprising for a major corporate funded political party and its
politicians to support its benefactors over the wishes of the
