I like the idea that has been expressed... that michigan pass a law that says if your name is not on the primary ballot you can can not be on the presidential ballot in november. jmho.

Support for Great Lakes could aid GOP candidates

With no clear leader in the race for the Republican Party's presidential nomination, Michigan's primary election Tuesday suddenly has taken on greater importance for several GOP candidates.

Perhaps a good way to garner favor with Republican voters in the Great Lakes State might be for the White House hopefuls to voice support for restoring those shimmering bodies of water that literally define our state.
