Michigan conservation leaders will join state legislators to urge Congress to confront global warming.
The rally comes as 39 Michigan hunting and fishing organizations have signed on to a national letter calling for passage of federal climate change legislation that includes funding for wildlife and natural resource preservation.
Speakers will discuss the implications for Michigan’s natural resources and Michigan’s efforts to mitigate climate impacts on wildlife and the Great Lakes.
