E-M:/ CMU Environmental Podcasts now on iTunes--free downloads

FYI….The Media Relations group at Central Michigan University is making available a number of environmental podcasts via the iTunes store.

To access them, just link to the Apple iTunes store at:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/store/

and search for “CMU podcasts”.

You should be directed to the CMU portion of the store which will have tabbed lists of video and audio podcasts including the recent lecture on campus sustainability by Dr. Debra Rowe; an interview on the CMU Student Environmental Alliance; and speeches by other notable speakers who have been on campus such as Rev. Jesse Jackson and Gen. Wesley Clark.

If you search by “artist” they are listed under “CMU Media Relations” as the artist.

All files are downloadable at no cost, but you do need to have an iTunes store account or sign up for one online.  To play them you will need the iTunes software on your computer or some other software that plays mp3 files.  iTunes software for either Mac or PC systems is available free from www.apple.com

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world: indeed it is the only thing that ever has!

                     -- Margaret Meade

“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though sometimes checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much.....because they live in that gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”

                                ~~ Teddy Roosevelt

"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds."

~~Samuel Adams, American Patriot and Brewmaster
