The “Recycler of the Year” Award recognizes an individual, community, business, or group that provides outstanding leadership in waste reduction and recycling in their region or field.
The “Spotlight Recognition” is for one-time projects, programs, or events that illustrate effective, creative and innovative program efforts.

Deadline for submissions will be April 15, 2008. Winners will be
announced at the 26th Annual Conference and Recycling Business Expo

The MRC is a non-profit environmental organization whose mission is to foster effective resource use in Michigan by developing, supporting and educating a coalition of business, government, non-profit and individual members working toward the common goals of waste reduction, recycling, reuse, composting and recycled-content purchasing.
