National Wildlife Federation, America’s conservation organization
passionate about protecting wildlife for our children’s future, is
seeking a dynamic and dedicated worker to serve Great Lakes State Policy
Manager in Ann Arbor. Responsibilities include:

●	Manage policy, strategy, advocacy, organizing and communications
aspects of NWF’s Great Lakes Water Resources Campaign. Ensure
enactment of the Great Lakes Water Resources Compact in all the Great
Lakes states, followed by ratification in Congress.  
●	Provide project leadership and support to coalition partners to
improve state policies and implementation around wetlands, invasive
species, polluted runoff, coastal health, and climate change adaptation
●	Conduct fundraising efforts to support water resources campaign
and maintain and expand NWF’s Great Lakes state programs. 


●	Advanced degree preferable.  B.S. or B.A. in environmental
policy or natural resources management required.
●	7 years experience in developing policy and implementing
advocacy campaigns. 
●	Familiarity and good reputation with Great Lakes conservation
community preferred.
●	Great Lakes policy expertise.
●	Demonstrated fundraising experience.
●	Exceptional interpersonal skills.
●	Strategic planning, program implementation and ability to drive
a project forward required.
●	Good judgment needed in rapidly changing political landscape.
●	Strong computer skills.
