Two internationally known scientists, Dr. Knute Nadelhoffer (U-M) and Dr. Karel Rogers (GVSU), will speak on the causes and expected impacts of global warming and a changing climate on Michigan. David Ullrich, director of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative, will talk about how cities need to prepare for a changing climate and what Midwestern cities are already doing. Questions from the audience will be taken at the end. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (517) 484-2372.
