E-M:/ Voting machines

In the end, the issue of accurate vote counting can be an environmental issue. In the 2004 presidential election, there were significant discrepancies between the exit polls and the voting machine results. This has ended up against environmental (and social) interests. Even if there is no change in the vote tallies, disruption in targeted districts could shift a close race.
