Election Organizer Interns – Wanted – 3 positions – 15-20 hours/week – Unpaid

Clean Water Action is a national 501(c)(4) grassroots citizen organization dedicated to providing clean, safe, and affordable water, preventing pollution, creating environmentally safe jobs and getting people involved in the democratic process. We are Michigan's largest environmental organization with over 235,000 members.
Election Organizers will mobilize Clean Water Action members to take part in outreach activities including delivering literature, surveying members and talking briefly with individuals about important environmental campaigns and election-related issues.
Election Organizers will work with Clean Water Action staff to organize materials and train and recruit volunteers to participate in outreach efforts in Oakland County.
Election Organizers will be organizing activities out of Clean Water Action's Royal Oak office.
Required Skills:
· Good written and oral communication
· Interest in working to get pro-environment candidates elected to
