Re: E-M:/ the word environment



John McCain made an oblique reference to the environment in his speech last night:

"We must use all resources and develop all technologies necessary to rescue our economy from the damage caused by rising oil prices and to restore the health of our planet."

That was the only thing I heard him say last night one way or another that was geared towards environmental issues. From McCain's public comments, he's not part of the "global warming is a hoax" crowd. That was likely a minority viewpoint in St. Paul.
