Dow Chemical Chief Executive Andrew Liveris said Thursday he prefers the economic policies of presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) over that Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) "As a necessity, I've been a strong student on both financial packages" offered up by the two presidential campaigns, Liveris said in an interview with MarketWatch, "and I've been very impressed with the people Obama has surrounded himself with."
