LG Cherry's Community Liason person, Jeff Martin, a well connected Democrat in the Tri-Cities,  went to work for Dow's PR department last year.  

There is always more-  Dow has retained Stephen Herman JD formerly of the US EPA's Office of Enforcement. The person heading up the Office of Enforcement at US EPA now, Mr. Nakayama, came from a law firm who represented, among others, Dow Chemical.

The gov sure knows how to pick 'em!  Lansing's looking more like a little Washington every year, revolving door and all.  Is Taylor destined for Nestle?  Cherry for Dow?

Matt Johnson, director of the Governor’s Office for the Upper Peninsula, has resigned from his post and now works for Rio Tinto, the parent company of Kennecott Minerals. The company has an office in Ishpeming, MI, and is seeking to develop a nickel-copper mine on the Yellow Dog Plains, in addition to other mineral projects in the area.
