DEQ: Stinky, nasty fish no longer an issue in Saginaw River, Bay

 

Fish caught in the Saginaw River and Bay are still contaminated, but they don't taste as bad.

The state Department of Environmental Quality announced Monday that a second "beneficial use impairment" has been removed from the Saginaw River and Bay Area of Concern, for the "Tainting of Fish and Wildlife Flavor."
