Today on The Environment Report...  

Labor and energy groups want a Clean 
Energy Corps to hit the streets and 
make old buildings more efficient.  
Chuck Quirmbach reports the groups 
want the federal government to pay 
for it.  

And... it seems obvious that new 
windows would be more energy efficient 
than century-old wooden ones.  But as 
Shawn Allee reports... some historic 
preservationists have discovered that's 
not always true.  Sometimes keeping 
those old windows is just as good... 
and can save you a lot of money.
