Western Lake Erie, many believe, is reaching another ‘tipping point’. Lower lake levels and increasing nutrient loads are of concern. Since Western Lake Erie has the Great Lakes warmest, shallowest, most biologically productive waters, these waters are known as the Great Lakes nursery and provide the ‘canary in the coal mine.’

This is the fourth Western Lake Erie Conference and is intended to inspire stewardship and provide good Western Lake Erie information to attendees.
