I would like to announce an exciting and timely event that will take
place next Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
Environmental writer and activist Dave Dempsey, author of Great Lakes
for Sale: From Whitecaps to Bottlecaps (U of MI Press 2008) will speak
on:
The Waters of Michigan:
Fighting Corporate Control from the Rouge to the Retailer
When: Wednesday, March 25, 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Where: Social Science Building, Room 1500.
The event is free and open to the public.
The event is catered by Al Sultan Middle East Restaurant.
