The 1997 Zebra Mussels in Michigan: Implications for Municipalities and
Industry conference will provide participants with the latest information on
the following topics: status of the zebra mussel in the Great Lakes Basin,
zebra mussel biology and impact on ecosystems, infestation monitoring,
control strategies, clean-up and protection costs, and industrial mitigation
experiences.

Who Should Attend
Engineers and managers of municipal water plants and industrial facilities
that draw water from the Great Lakes and other zebra mussel infested water
bodies, research scientists, resource agency personnel, students and private
citizens have benefitted from the conference during each of the past seven
years.
