      DUTIES:
      Coordinate Michigan Sea Grant Communications activities; write/edit
      material, design and/or layout of materials and incorporate Sea Grant
      materials into a variety of media; serve as Assistant Director of
      Michigan Sea Grant (MSG) and as a member of a four person management
      team; represent MSG on a national basis.

      DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
      Supervision of a small to mid-sized communications group; familiarity
      with Sea Grant; some administrative experience.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
      B.S. degree; at least five years experience in a communications
      department; successful publication of first-authored materials.
