Socioeconomic Impacts of Climate Change

The Great Lakes Environmental Research Lab (GLERL) of the US National
Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is developing a research
agenda for assessing the socioeconomic impacts of climate change in the
Great Lakes Basin. This agenda will be used as a proposed research plan
for the United States component of the Great Lakes Binational Climate
Change Program.

Mary Hyatt Ford, a graduate student from the School of Public and
Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, is developing this agenda. A
draft is planned for July 23, 1997, and completion is planned for late
August 1997. If you have any information or contacts that would benefit
this effort or if you would like to become involved in the process please
