Great Lakes Contaminated Sediments Report Now Available

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Great Lakes National Program 
Office's Sediment Assessment and Remediation Team has released "Moving
Mud 
- Remediating Great Lakes Contaminated Sediments, A Report on the
Sediment 
Assessment and Remediation Program in the Great Lakes Basin".  The
report 
highlights sediment projects, including assessments, feasibility
studies, 
remedial designs, and remediations, funded during FY 1993-1996.  These 
projects continue the work of the Assessment and Remediation of
Contaminate
d Sediments (ARCS) Program.  The report also provides recommendations
for 
future efforts to remediate contaminated sediments in the Great Lakes 
Basin.
