Ohio Lake Erie Conference Will Kick Off
3-Day Environmental Program in Cleveland

The Governor's Lake Erie Commission and the International Joint Commission will host an exciting three-day Lake Erie environmental program to be held September 18 through September  20, 1997 at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland. This premiere event is geared toward environmental organizations, researchers and Great Lakes representatives, along with public officials from local, state, federal and Canadian governments.
     
The three-day event begins September 18, 1997 with  the Sixth Annual Ohio Lake Erie Conference, presented by the Ohio Lake Erie Commission and the Ohio Lake Erie Office. On September 19, 1997 a Lakewide Management Plan Workshop will be featured, hosted by the International Joint Commission. This Workshop will focus on human health and aquatic life issues. The environmental program will conclude on September 20, 1997 with a Remedial Action Plan Forum (RAP) focusing on Lake Erie Areas of Concern, hosted by Ohio's RAP organizations.
