Be Sure to Visit GLIN's August SITE OF THE MONTH:
the University Of Wisconsin Sea Grant Institute

Celebrating its 25th year as a national Sea Grant college, UW Sea
Grant is the oldest of the six Sea Grant programs in the Great
Lakes region. Its web site has won several awards, including
three gold medals for its education section's interactive Madison
JASON Project. Other popular features include stories and photos
of Lake Superior shipwrecks, and profiles of more than two dozen
Great Lakes fish. Surfers with RealAudio can listen to its
Earthwatch public service radio program, also celebrating its 25th
anniversary this year. This web site is also a doorway to the
nation's 28 other Sea Grant programs, a rich source of information
on the whole spectrum of Great Lakes, coastal and ocean
resources and related issues.

between First Nations and Canada, including text, photos of the
original treaties, and relevant maps.
