Insatiable Thirst Broadcast in Lansing, Bay City (fwd)

A reminder for those in the Lansing area. Insatiable Thirst will be
broadcast for the first time on WKAR, channel 23 this weekend. The first
broadcast is on August 31st at 2pm, and the second airing will be on
September 5th at 1pm.

In the Bay City/Saginaw Area, it will also be airing on WUCX, channel 35
and WUCM, channel 19 *tonight* at 10pm.

The show is a 30-min documentary examining the impacts of commercial and
residential development on MI's groundwater quality. As much of you know,
almost 50% of Michigan residents rely on groundwater as the sole source of
their drinking water. But our patterns of growth, particularly suburban
sprawl, are putting groundwater at risk.

The show is produced in cooperation with Michigan Public Television,
WFUM-TV, and the Great Lakes Radio Consortium. It is funded by the W.K.
Kellogg Foundation.

Also, because this could be the pilot for more environmental coverage on
public tv, it's important for you to give us your feedback. Tell us what you
like, what you don't like, if you would like more of this type of
environmental coverage, how you would do it differently, and if this
documentary is an important use of your money. Any and all feedback is
