E-MAIL RIO ALGOM TO DROP ITS
CRANDON MINE IN WISCONSIN

***Please circulate***

With the recent Moratorium vote in the Wisconsin
State Senate, and growing local opposition to the
proposed Crandon mine, the days of Rio Algom, Ltd.
in Wisconsin are clearly numbered. Help the
company understand the message by e-mailing its
headquarters in Toronto. Let them know that
their "charm offensive" is not working,
and that they should gracefully exit the
doomed project in the interest of their
shareholders.

Please immediately send a message to Rio Algom.
Copy and paste this address into the message:

corpcomm@rioalgom.com

Please cc messages to:
earthwins@earthwins.com

Please do not e-mail any message that
you would not want printed in a Toronto
newspaper. In particular, remember that
foreign mining companies are no better or
worse than U.S. mining companies, and that
many Ontario uranium miners and Native peoples
have been victims of Rio Algom. Our argument is
not with Canadians, but with any multinational
corporation that tramples on democracy in
any country, by bringing in a mine against
the will of the local people.

For information on the track record of Rio Algom, see

For information on the proposed Crandon mine, see

Please circulate this message to any friends in
Wisconsin, the U.S., Canada, or elsewhere in
the world. We want Rio Algom to be
"Rio Allgone"! Thanks!
