Great Lakes Trends Analysis



The Office of the Great Lakes, Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, has made it's publication "Great Lakes Trends: A Dynamic Ecosystem" available in electronic format on its Internet HomePage.  The report reviews such trends as PCB levels in coho salmon and Herring Gull eggs; annual phosphorus loadings from the Detroit River; lead and mercury in Lake Michigan sediments; atmospheric deposition; land use changes; and the introduction of exotic species.
