JOB OPENING: 
Team Leader
Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute
Northland College
Ashland, Wisconsin

Northland College is accepting applications for the position of Team
Leader with the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute. This position is
full time, beginning immediately.

Duties will include coordinating development, training and
implementation of a team approach to management of Institute programs;
working with Institute director to provide leadership for team
activities including: long-range planning, cross-program communication
and integration, administrative systems, development and financial
planning; researching, drafting and submitting grants in coordination
with advancement office staff; overseeing budgets and coordinating staff
training in administrative areas; tracking budgets and grants; guiding
Institute team integration with College initiatives, curriculum, faculty
and strategic plan; participating in Northland College campus committees
focusing on outreach and on-campus environmental education, research,
community service, and campus team development; and coordinating program
and fund raising activities of a 40-member volunteer advisory board,
various advisory committees and work groups and College trustee
committee.

Required qualifications include: proven record of financial management
and project management skills. Candidates will also have demonstrated
supervisory capability and experience in team-oriented organizations;
ability to work effectively in a complex organizational environment;
excellent human relations skills; computer literacy with
word-processing, database and financial management software; familiarity
with non-profit environmental and/or educational organizations. Master's
degree in related area preferred, bachelor's degree considered if
applicant also has at least four years' experience in organizational
management, fiscal administration, team development and leadership,
program administration, fund raising, or grant writing. The position
requires regular travel, with some weekend work required.
