     The House Resources Committee, Subcommittee on Fisheries Conservation, 
     Wildlife and Oceans, has scheduled a hearing for the Great Lakes Fish 
     and Wildlife Restoration Act.  The Hearing will be at 10am on June 
     18th.
     
     The Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act was introduced 
     jointly by Congressman Latourette (HR 1481) and Senator Glenn (S 659) 
     in April of 1997.  The Act reauthorized the Great Lakes Fishery 
     Resources Offices and Great Lakes Coordination Office and sets up a 
     proposal review process to implement the recommendations of the study 
     authorized by the 1990 act.  For more information contact:
