University of Minnesota Sea Grant Program

Minnesota Sea Grant supports research and public education programs
related to Lake Superior and Minnesota's inland waters. It is part of
the National Sea Grant Program, which sponsors research in 31 coastal
and Great Lakes states and territories. The Minnesota Sea Grant web site
features more than 800 pages of information about programs, publications
and activities. Pay them a visit and learn more about exotic species,
aquaculture, fisheries, water quality and tourism. Highlights include
the "Glossary of the Great Lakes," an online version of a book that
features definitions and terms about the Great Lakes; the award-winning
"Seiche" newsletter; descriptions of current research projects;
