> WORKING TITLE: Water Quality Specialist
> LOCATION:  University of Wisconsin - Manitowoc

> DESCRIPTION: Serve as Advisory Services Water Quality Specialist for
> the University of Wisconsin Sea Grant Institute, a state-wide program
> of research, outreach and education dedicated to the protection and
> wise use of Great Lakes and ocean resources.  Provide the public,
> industry, and agency personnel with instruction, applied research,
> practical demonstration, field-testing and consultation on water
> quality problems and issues related to the Great Lakes.  This position
> is located in Manitowoc and will require overnight travel to Wisconsin
> Great Lakes communities.
> 
> QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in water quality-related discipline,
> with at least four years of professional experience or Ph.D. in water
> quality-related discipline with at least two years of professional
> experience.  Must show a demonstrated ability to:  (1) initiate and
> complete projects with minimal supervision; (2) communicate and work
> effectively with diverse audiences; and (3) interpret technical
> information and relate it to local concerns.

> SALARY:  This position is a fixed-term renewable appointment to the
