     The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works has reported out 
     the Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Restoration Act.  The Report is 
     favorable for an amendment in the nature of a substitute.
     
     Amendment language includes:
     
     1) Language changes to 'streamline' the bill.
     
     2) Changes to dates for reports.
     
     3) Increase the U.S. FWS portion of the funding authorization (for 
     operation of the Coordination Offices) from $1.5 million to $3.5 
     million.  (Grants funding is $4.5 million, unchanged).
     
     
     
     The House Full Committee markup is scheduled for August 5.
