The Black River RAP and Great Lakes Water Quality Board of the International Joint Commission are pleased to present a symposium on "Protecting What's Been Gained in the Black River". This symposium is designed to be an action-oriented public meeting to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas pertaining to watershed management.
Don Schregardus, Director of Ohio EPA and a member of the Great Lakes Water Quality Board will speak on the challenges of protecting the Black River in the future. The keynote Speaker, David Orr, Professor and Chair of the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College, will share his perspective on "The Community's Role in River Protection".

The registration fee for the symposium is $10.00, which includes a continental breakfast, coffee, luncheon buffet, refreshments at breaks and conference materials. Registration deadline is October 2, 1998.
