Assistant Professor, Aquatic Ecologist
Kent State University
Tenure-track position beginning Fall 1999. An individual with research
strengths in freshwater vertebrates who is able to teach a course in
vertebrate zoology is especially desirable. The appointee will be expected
to develop a strong research program, seek extramural funding, and
participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Our department awards
M.S. and Ph.D. degrees with research strengths in aquatic ecology and
reproductive biology. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. or
equivalent degree, postdoctoral research experience, a strong record of
publication, and a record of extramural funding commensurate with
experience. Start up funds are available.
