Weather lore???

Hi!

For some weather-related exhibits at the new Great Lakes Aquarium, we are
hoping to collected "weather lore" from around the Great Lakes, especially
Lake Superior. This would be sayings, local anecdotes, etc. Things like
"when the wind blows northeast, it's neither fit for man nor beast." Or
less poetic but more telling of Great Lakes phenomena.

I would love to get anything you have, including leads. Thanks!
