Want to know what's going on with the fisheries in the Great Lakes?

Our 27th annual meeting will cover all the subjects: Game fish status and
stocking plans, new regulations, license fees, ballast water controls,
cormorants, exotics, tribal and commercial issues, perch, walleye, Platte
River Hatchery.  DNRs represented include Illinois, Indiana, Michigan,
Wisconsin, and Ohio.

Great Lakes forage base, trawling and hydroacoustic studies will be
discussed by Chuck Madajian, USGS, Biological Resources Division - Ann
Arbor,

Exotics (biological pollution) and their impact in the Great Lakes region
will be discussed by Tom Nalepa, NOAA,  Great Lakes Environmental Research
Lab - Ann Arbor,

GL Sea Grant Network fisheries programs will be reviewed by IL-IN Sea Grant
Network personnel - Brian Miller and Pat Charlevoix.

A review of Michigan's Great Lakes Fishery Trust will be presented by MI
DNR's Sharon Hanshue, and GLSFC personnel will review Internet marketing
programs offered on the GLSFC web site.

A Round Table discussion with Fish Chiefs, Biologists and Researchers will
be moderated by Sea Grant.

A short business meeting will follow.

Free access to the show will be available to all meeting participants.
